Courtyard

Designed for a young family with a strong interest in wellness and connection to both nature and community, this home explores how architecture can support daily rituals while extending life outdoors. Set on a nearly one-acre site, the project is organized to create relationships between interior spaces, landscape, and the surrounding neighborhood.

A series of interrelated courtyards brings light and landscape into the home, blurring the boundary between inside and out while creating spaces for gathering, reflection, and play. These spaces are interwoven with the interior, allowing the family to move fluidly between them throughout the day and across seasons. The backyard features a natural pool, conceived as both a place for recreation and an ecological system that reinforces the project’s commitment to environmental sustainability.
