The transformation of this kitchen space started with many conversations with the clients about their family's daily life. They have three young children and wanted to use the space for not only cooking, but for homework, dinner and gathering with extended family members and friends. A large counter top accommodates all the needs. Three cubbies were designed to hide all of their kids' backpacks and school supplies. End-seating encourages conversations at every meal.
