When our clients moved to this beautiful old cold-storage-turned-loft residential building, their primary bedroom wall had an open connection to their teenage son’s room.  For the first few months after they moved into their new home, the client had been living with a tempory barrier made up of boxes and furniture to provide some privacy between the rooms. Tumu designed a custom cabinet with powder coated white steel frame to fill the hole and match the industrial vibe of their space. The design and construction were designed to provide maximum acoustic separation and practical small storage for daily uses
