We’re excited to announce the launch of our new website!
I can’t tell you if a tree makes a sound if it falls in a forrest and no one is around to hear it…but in the modern world we live in, you may not even exist if you don’t have a website.
So it looks like we’ve finally arrived!
Even though it may seem quite simple, getting this thing up and running was not a small task. When we first started thinking about creating a digital home for our new practice, we figured that we might use a web page creation service like wix or squarespace. However, even our simple ideas for what we wanted our site to be grew past the capabilities of a ‘cookie cutter’ solution.
Thankfully, we just happen to be lucky enough to know an exceptionally gifted gentleman by the name of Alex. Alex founded a company called Arccentric that does fantastic work in not only web design, but graphic design and 3d visualizations (both static and animation).

With Arccentric’s help, we were able to create the site you see now. There is a quote by a french novelist named Antoine de Saint-Exupery that has become a mantra of sorts for our studio… ‘A designer knows he/she has achieved perfection not when there is nothing left to add, but when there is nothing left to take away.’ We spent a lot of time taking things away with the aim of making it as simple and elegant as possible. It’s always amazing to me how much effort it takes to get to the essence of things. It’s something that we strive for in our architectural work that I think applies to most of the design world. I’m not sure that you ever quite get there…but you have to try.
